Finding a mentor consisted of having to call 20 pediatric offices and getting no’s every time, not even a hopeful “let me talk to some doctors”, they all straight up said no everytime. I got discouraged to the point where I almost wanted to change my project, but Mr. Goldberg reminded me that before I get a yes, I'm going to be receiving many no’s. And shortly after I received my yes." |

After the presentations, there were many people who came up to me and talked about my project with me and everything they said to me was very encouraging, they were saying that this was going to be a very good experience and that what I'm doing is great and hearing those words felt great. Now that community night is over if I feel like this is when my project actually begins. |

At the end of my experience I was in such a happy mood, not only because I got to hold so many babies but because I loved it and I felt in place. |

My ideas come at night, usually around 12 A.M. This may not be the most convenient of times but at least the ideas come to me. Overall I am very happy with my research paper topic, it is something I am am very interested in and enjoy researching about, I can’t wait to see it fully developed. |

I did have one discouraging experience, it was when Stoneforge decided that they did not want to participate in my fundraiser but they were fairly rude about it. It was slightly discouraging because they were the first restaurant that I contacted and It was a negative start to the journey. However, now I have two amazing restaurants confirmed and one negotiation in progress. I couldn't be more exited for the fundraiser! |

My fundraiser planning is going better than I could have ever hoped and the more I plan, the more excited I get for the fundraiser. I have sent out an email to all the elementary schools and asked them to send a email out to all parents and I have also sent them my flyer to put in children's folders. After I sent the email it made my project feel very real, and I couldn't be more exited. |

This year I have planned an extremely successful fundraiser (60 kids signed up!) and I confirmed my love for pediatrics...wow! |

Overall, Senior Project was the best decision I had made for myself, I grew more in this class than I have in four years. |
